Works published in 'Chai Copy' - An MCH Literary Journal

Chai Copy is a bi-annual literary journal published by Manipal Centre for Humanities (MCH). The journal is dedicated to upcoming voices in poetry, fiction, visual art and creative non-fiction. Two of my illustration pieces 'Staccato beats' and 'Temple bells' were selected and published in the Volume 6, Issue 2 under the theme ‘Rhythms’ that released in Jan 2023 for categories 'Illustration' and 'Visual Art'.

The illustration 'Staccato beats' was inspired from a childhood memory of a rhythm that's etched in my mind from my classical dance class lessons.

The illustration 'Temple bells' is yet another piece inspired from the deep, resounding rhythm that we hear at the temples which I find very meditative and peaceful.

'Staccato Beats'

The illustration 'Staccato beats' was inspired from a childhood memory of a rhythm that's etched in my mind from my classical dance class lessons. One of my first few memories of understanding the concept of rhythm.

'Temple Bells'

The illustration 'Temple bells' is yet another piece inspired from the deep, resounding rhythm that we hear at temples which I find very meditative and peaceful. Again this was inspired from my visits to temples which I find extremely peaceful and calming.
